NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Grand Bahama gearing up to host Island Relays Bahamas in track and field.

The island of Grand Bahama setting up to host another top notch track and field event this month. Island Relays Bahamas scheduled for March 17 – 18 at the GB Sports Complex. The event will feature a total of six universities including our very own University of The Bahamas, the University of Oklahoma, Arizona, Texas A&M, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

UB recently took on the Great Whites in the New Providence Basketball Association.

In the fourth quarter, the Mingoes sealed the deal, winning 81 – 64.

New Providence Basketball Association division 2 action, Monday night, saw a pretty good ball game as the rebels coming back from 12 points down in the second half to defeat the RC Liquors Eagles 86 – 84 on the buzzer.

Andrew Strachan and Kristen Munroe with 14 points apiece in the win. Alexio Frances had 22 in the losing cause.
