NASSAU, BAHAMAS – More than a month after two men of Haitian descent were assaulted in a barbershop, it seems law enforcement officers are making progress in the case.

Immigration Minister Keith Bell confirming to reporters the men entering the barbershop are immigration officers. 

He says action has been taken.

The officers entered Adam’s Barbershop on Bacardi Road on February 11 and allegedly assaulted two barbers.

The men told Our News they were taken to the Detention Center and released later that day. Both men feel they were targeted.

The incident leaving many in the Haitian community shaken and on edge.
