FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA – For drivers whose commute takes them near the roundabout at West Atlantic Drive in Freeport, Grand Bahama, the scenery just got upgraded.

The roundabout in the area commonly known as “the back of town” now features stingrays.

During an unveiling ceremony over the weekend, Chairperson of the Keep Grand Bahama Clean Committee Nikira Wilchcombe explained this effort will continue throughout the city.

Artist Jacki Boss says the artwork is made out of concrete and the largest sculpture took her 300 hours to complete. Some of the smaller pieces took the artist 6-8 weeks to finish.
