NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Thousands of passengers are expected to travel through the Lynden Pindling International Airport this Easter holiday weekend.

Our News spoke with the vice president of operations at the Nassau Airport Development Company and he says the airports performance has been very strong following spring break and that performance is expected to continue over the next several weeks.

Vice President of Operations at the Nassau Airport Development Company Jonathan Hanna says preparing for a time like this takes weeks of planning.

Hanna also says due to the demand thats expected there are several contingency plans in place.

For those who are traveling this holiday weekend, Hanna says you should be at the airport at least three hours ahead of an international flight.
