NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Sciences is renewing its pledge to The Bahamas Agriculture Marine Sciences Institute for more programs and continued funding.

The institute started by the Christie administration back in 2012 seeks to be the technological arm of the ministry.

Agriculture minister says the Eggcademy, launched on Monday is the first in a line of plans the Davis administration has for the institution.

Parliamentary Secretary and MP for North Andros and The Berry Islands Leonardo Lightbourne adding that plans are also in place for marine life lovers.
