NASSAU, BAHAMAS – There’s been an extension to the deadline for requests for pre-qualifications on the Family Island Airport Development Project.

The original deadline for submissions was April 16th, which has since been extended and the new deadline for submission is now April 30th. Tourism and Aviation Minister Chester Cooper says the extension comes as some were required to provide additional information.

Now, the Family Island Renaissance Programme is a $260 million dollar project that will transform 14 family island airports and related infrastructure.
