USA – Bahamian WNBA basketball player Jonquel jones going up against her former team – The Connecticut Sun – for the very first time for the 2023-2024 WNBA season.
USA – Bahamian WNBA basketball player Jonquel jones going up against her former team – The Connecticut Sun – for the very first time for the 2023-2024 WNBA season.
Jonquel scored 7 points and took three boards in the 85-61 win over The Sun.
Jonquel was drafted by The Sun back in 2016 as the sixth overall pick.
During the 2023 off season she requested a trade and ended up with the liberty and, while the game wasn’t her best performance, she says it’s still early and she will learn from her mistakes.
