NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With budget day looming, we spoke to several residents, who gave their views on what they want to see tackled in the upcoming communication by the prime minister.

While many admitted to not keeping up or even caring about the budget, one resident says he hopes to see Family Island funding increased.

Another resident, who decided to remain anonymous, says education should be a key focus. While a local pastor says emphasis should be placed on social welfare.

And, although quite unlikely, Jeremy Major says value-added tax needs to go.
