Strachan Runs Season Best and Bahamas Bowl Returns in December

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Anthonique Strachan scored the track in Jamaica, running a season best 10.99 time in the 100 meter race at the Racers Grand Prix over the weekend.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Anthonique Strachan scored the track in Jamaica, running a season best 10.99 time in the 100 meter race at the Racers Grand Prix over the weekend. 

Strachan came second to Sherika Jackson of Jamaica who finished with a 10.78. 

Strachan is currently living and training in Jamaica.

Meanwhile the 2023 edition of the Hometown Lenders’ Bahamas Bowl is all set to go. 

The college bowl game will be held on December 16th, making it the first game of the bowl season. 

This year’s event will feature a team from the mid-American conference facing off against a conference USA squad. 

Last year’s game was a shootout where University of Alabama at Birmingham eeked out a win over Miami University of Ohio.
