USA – U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith said Tuesday that the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. capitol was “fueled by lies” told by former President Donald Trump.
Trump was indicted on four new federal criminal charges Tuesday, all related to his alleged effort to overturn his defeat in the 2020 election.
The indictment lays out a total of 21 lies.
