Cuba: Idalia Causes Floods and Power Outages

CUBA – People in Cuba continue to leave their homes in search for higher ground as Storm Idalia is expected to cause further flooding.

Although the storm has moved away from the island, some provinces are expecting swells with light to moderate coastal flooding.

Idalia hit Cuba with heavy rain, especially in the tobacco-producing province of Pinar del Rio.

Flood waters also covering towns and farmland.
