Father and Son Die in Family Street Apartment

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police say the deadly incident happening in the wee hours of Tuesday morning just off Soldier Road.

Police responding to a call at an apartment complex on Family Street around 12:30 Tuesday morning. The initial report indicated two men were fighting.

After officers arrived they attempted to subdue one of the men, police say that’s when things took a turn from bad to worse.

After successfully arresting the man, officers made a shocking discovery when they searched the man’s home.

And the story gets even more bizarre. The boy’s father, who was detained by officers, became unresponsive. EMS responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police say the child has been identified as 22-month-old Anwar Miller by his mother.

We spoke to a neighbor who expressed shock and disappointment that something like this could happen.

With a father and son dead, many are questioning the dead man’s mental and physical state and what led to their peculiar deaths. Johnson says we’ll have to wait and see.
