NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Girl Guides Association has been shaping the lives of young women in the country for over 100 years. Now, they’re almost finished a new headquarters, but they need a little helping getting across the finish line.

That work has culminated in The Bahamas Girl Guides Association’s new headquarters on West Bay Street with 6,200 square feet of space, the project is budgeted at $1.4 million.

But Architect Alvan Rolle says that’s not all.

This week, the Sandals Foundation donated $100,000 to The Bahamas Girl Guides Association toward the completion of their headquarters, and Sandals Royal Bahamian Hotel Manager, Nick Abruscato challenged corporate Bahamas to also help contribute to the cause.

Rolle says if you can’t give money, you give something else.
