Passenger Jumps Out Of Plane Emergency Exit At Gate

USA – A Southwest Airlines passenger was subdued by workers on the tarmac at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport after the man opened an emergency exit and climbed out of the plane while it was still at the gate.

According to officials the passenger was believed to be having “A mental health emergency”.

The incident took place just before 8 pm when airport police were called to one of the concourses.

The unidentified 38-year-old man climbed onto the plane’s wing and jumped onto the ground. He was captured by ground personnel. No one was injured in the incident.
