GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The start of the new year is usually a time when many people and companies reset and line up their goals. Over in Grand Bahama, the Grand Bahama Power Company is sharing some of its mega goals with us as they move towards implementing even more technology into their operations.

The Grand Bahama Power Company is optimistic about 2024, this as the company’s Communications Director Cleopatra Russell says they are implenting more technology into their daily operations.

Russell adding that they are excited about their new digital customer experience as they continue to roll out their AMI smart meters.

Some 95 percent of residential and commercial customers currently have the smart meters and russell says this year, teams will be working to get their customer portal live.

The smart meters will allow the company to monitor voltage issues remotely and identify outages much quicker.
