NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 23-year-old woman arrested after she allegedly knocked down her boyfriend following a row has been charged with attempted murder.

Prosecutors say Antonice Clarke tried to take Mattew Griffin’s life on April 16.

According to police, Clarke and Griffin were driving together when they got into an argument.

Clarke allegedly ran Griffin over with her Jeep when he exited the vehicle and fled the scene.

She later turned herself into police and was arrested.

Griffin lost his leg as a result of the incident.

Clarke didn’t have to enter a plea when she appeared before Magistrate Kendra Kelly.

She was denied bail and returns to court on June 10 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
