UNITED KINGDOM – Police in Bristol, England, responded to reports Wednesday of a suspicious man on the Clifton Suspension Bridge and discovered two suitcases believed to contain human remains.

Officers arrived within 10 minutes of the midday call, but the man, who arrived by taxi, had already left.
Acting Bristol Commander Vicks Hayward-Melen described the incident as disturbing, emphasizing the priority to locate the man, identify the deceased, and notify their next of kin.
The taxi driver is assisting police.
