GAZA – Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement mounted their biggest round of cross-border strikes since the war in Gaza began.

On Sunday, Hezbollah launched hundreds of rockets and drones at Israel early in the day, as Israel’s military reported it struck Lebanon with around 100 jets to thwart a larger attack. This marked one of the biggest clashes in more than 10 months of border warfare.

With three deaths confirmed in Lebanon and one in Israel, both sides indicated they were keen to avoid further escalation for now, but warned that more strikes could come.
