Arrest Warrant Issued for Man Who Had Sexual Intercourse with School Girl

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who admitted to having sex with a schoolgirl whom he met online.

Twenty-six-year-old Quincy Edgecombe pleaded guilty last month.

And Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson allowed Edgecombe to remain on bail so he could get his affairs in order.

He was supposed to return to court today for sentencing.

But, Edgecombe failed to appear, prompting the judge to issue a warrant for his immediate arrest.

On August 14, 2022, Edgecombe, then 22, picked up a 13-year-old girl whom he met on Instagram.

He took her to a friend’s home in Elizabeth Estates, and they had sex.

But the girl couldn’t give consent as she’s under 16.
