NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Hurricane Milton also impacting flights in Florida and here in The Bahamas.

Officials at the Lynden Pindling International Airport say there’s already been flight cancellations and delays from cities like Tampa and Orlando.

Hurricane Milton has dominated headlines, as the mega storm is barreling towards Florida.

On Tuesday, several Florida airports closed as the state prepares for the monster storm.

Nassau Airport Development Company VP of Operations Jonathan Hanna  says many of those airports sent their last flights to LPIA, some of them were delayed.

Nearly 300 students, returning to Freeport and the capital last night on that Bahamsair flight out of Orlando.

Michael Cartwright is a college football player who returned on an American Airlines flight Tuesday morning.

I also spoke with an American visitor who says he’s concerned for his fellow U.S. residents in Florida.
