NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Do you remember the Rolle Sisters – we introduced them to you last year during the Christmas holidays.

Every year they get together in the spirit of Christmas for a family friendly Christmas Tree Decorating Competition.

This year – the sisters added a community element to their competition by coming together to decorate the South Beach Police Station.

But why did they choose the South Beach Police Station?

“South Beach is the community in which we grow up as children into adulthood and we have always felt safe in that community so therefore choosing South Beach Police Station was an easy choice for us,” Leah Rolle said.

“In addition to it my brother 1475 Sergeant Wayne Rolle also had a short stint at the South Beach Police Station so we thought we would memorialize him a little bit.”

And they didn’t do it by themselves; they engaged the services of Bahamas Welding and Fire.

Deputy Commander of the Southeastern Division Superintendent Jamal Evans was grateful for the kind gesture.
