Pope Calls Trump Plan To Deport Migrants A “Disgrace”

UNITED STATES – Pope Francis has criticized Donald Trump’s plans to deport illegal migrants, calling them a “disgrace” in a recent Italian TV interview.

He said such actions would unfairly punish vulnerable people who have nothing and added, “that’s not how you solve problems”.

The Pope also sent Trump a message, urging him to lead a society without hatred or discrimination and to promote peace.

Francis has previously described systematic efforts to expel migrants as a “grave sin”.
