NASSAU, BAHAMAS -A family’s worst nightmare coming true in Grand Bahama.

Imagine, preparing to bury a family member only to learn on the day of the funeral, no arrangements are in place.

A viral social media post bringing light to accusations against a funeral director. Michelda Fertil Saunders says her family in Abaco hired the a funeral director in May for a burial that never happened. To make matters worse, she says there was no hearse to take her uncle’s body to the church.

Saunders claims they weren’t the only ones “duped”. She says once try tried to confront him he stopped answering their phone calls.

The social media posts are claiming a funeral director was questioned following the discovery of a body in bushes in East Grand Bahama. Police would not confirm or deny any of the information surrounding the allegations, promising to provide full detail once investigations are completed.
