NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has ordered the removal of an ankle bracelet from an accused killer who said the tracking device was affecting his job prospects.

Raymond Bain’s boss at Splice and Connect said that he would have to fire Bain if the bracelet wasn’t removed.

Bain is accused of the 2021 murder of Laphanso Stuart in Sandy Point, Abaco. His trial isn’t set to be heard until 2028.

Justice Jeanine Weech-Gomez said Bain’ signing in requirements will suspended when he’s required to travel for work.

Otherwise, when in New Providence, he’s required to do weekly check-ins with police.
