NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Another busy day at court as Long Island Member of Parliament Adrian Gibson and the five others who spent the night on remand, waited for hours before they were finally released.

Former water and sewerage corporation executive chairman Adrian Gibson released on $150,000 bail this afternoon after spending the night on remand.

Following the arraignment, Monday, Gibson, former WSC General Manager Elwood Donaldson and five others were arraigned on a total of 101 corruption-related charges.

However, only one of the seven – Gibson’s cousin Roshae Gibson – was able to make the bail handed down by Magistrate Caroline Vought- Evans, resulting in the others spending the night on remand.

However, Adrian Gibson’s attorneys were at the magistrate’s court complex from the courts opened with the necessary documents.

We caught up with his attorneys who remained tight-lipped on the matter.

Free national movement supporters gathering outside the courts all awaiting his much-anticipated release.

Gibson was hit with 56 charges concerning allegedly corrupt actions while he was executive chairman of the water and sewerage corporation under the Minnis administration.

Shortly after 1:00 Tuesday afternoon, Gibson was released.

We again sought to speak to former Cabinet Minister Elsworth Johnson who is representing Gibson after he was released and former mp don saunders, but again he didn’t have much to say on the matter.
