Cassie Challenged By Defense In Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Trial

UNITED STATES – R&B singer Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, took the stand this week against her ex, Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” combs, accusing him of rape and years of abuse during their 11-year relationship.

However on Thursday, the defense tried to poke holes in her story, showing old texts where she told Diddy she was “ready” for his so-called “freak offs”, described as drug-fueled sex encounters, which she hated, she said.

Cassie told the jury she stayed because she loved him.

Combs who’s facing serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges, could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted.

He’s currently being held in a Brooklyn jail.
