WORLDWIDE – U.S. House leaders are calling on Crowdstrike CEO George Kurtz to testify about the company’s role in a massive tech outage last Friday, that disrupted flights, banks, and hospitals worldwide.

The outage, caused by a faulty software update, affected around 8.5 million windows machines.

House Homeland Security committee chairs Mark Green and Andrew Garbarino have demanded detailed explanations and mitigation plans from Crowdstrike, which has seen its stock drop over 20% since the incident.
