NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As the government prepares to present legislation to tackle the issue of equality for citizenship rights, Former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis says his administration was exploring the issue.

Last week Attorney General Ryan Pinder noted that there will be no third referendum on citizenship and says instead the government will amend The Bahamas Nationality Act to equalize rights that will allow men and women to both pass on citizenship to their children.
