NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A large portion of the Accident and Emergency section at the Princess Margaret Hospital remains under active renovations.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. Michael Darville admitting it’s disrupting workflows, forcing doctors and nurses to work in cramped locations.

Just last week, the general public was asked to only visit the A&E section for true emergencies, as a way to help lessen the burden. Minister Darville gave this update.

He is asking the public for its continued patience throughout the phased renovations.
