GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – This weekend at the University of The Bahamas’ main campus, Star Film Institute finalists hailing from Exuma, Grand Bahama, Eleuthera and New Providence will be screening their six new Bahamian television pilots in both comedy and drama categories.

The competition also teaches finalists marketing skills, including a people’s choice aspect that centers on public opinion of the best trailer.

Pinder tells us why that was so important.

You can find more information on the Star Film page on Facebook or on Island Dreams Management’s website.

For now, Pinder says it’s important to support Bahamian talent sooner rather than later.
