NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man has denied molesting his granddaughter over a five-year period.

The 57-year-old, identified as SB, faced seven counts of incest and seven counts of indecent assault at his arraignment before Chief Justice Sir Ian Winder.

Prosecutors say SB began molesting his then eight-year-old granddaughter in January 2019.

The sexual abuse allegedly continued until September 7, 2024 when the child was 13..

SB, who is on bail, entered not guilty pleas to all 14 counts.

The case has been transferred to Justice Joyann Ferguson for trial.

SB will appear in court on April 23 for a fixture hearing.
