Don Kemp – Co-Chair, Young Surveyors Network

“We will encourage them because we have good math teachers at BTVI, especially the infamous Mr. Stanley Gordon, who brought me from a C to an A. I got emotional right there.”

A heartfelt response from the co-chair of the Bahamas Young Surveyors Network, Don Kemp, during a joint press conference at the Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute.

In partnership with the Bahamas Association of Land Surveyors, Civil Society Bahamas, the Commonwealth of The Bahamas Trade Union Congress, and the Bahamas Institute of STEM & Innovation Alliance, these organizations are making a national appeal to recruit individuals for the Bahamas Young Surveyors Network.

Kemp, in his remarks, described how the teachers involved in the program contributed to his career advancement, adding that he entered the profession to address deficiencies he observed in the system.

Supporting his comments was fellow co-chair Dellerease Allen.
