Pair Charged with Deadly 2024 Double Shooting
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The suspects in a double shooting that took place last August are now facing a murder charge after one of their alleged victims died.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The suspects in a double shooting that took place last August are now facing a murder charge after one of their alleged victims died.
James Johnson, 33, and Jerome Wright, 22, are now charged with the murder of Arthur, Wilson who died in hospital on February 22.
Wilson and Deontae Ferguson were both shot while at Young Street on August 28, 2024.
Johnson and Wright were already on remand for two counts of attempted murder when Wilson died.
They didn’t have to enter pleas to the upgraded charge when they appeared before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
They return to court on May 1 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
