PERU – Seventy tourists on a river boat in Peru detained by an indigenous group, in protest to a recent oil spill.

The United Kingdom Foreign Office says a very small number of their nationals are among those on the boat.

Peruvian, Swiss, American, Spanish, and French nationals are also believed to be among those stranded.

They are not thought to have been harmed since they were taken on Thursday.
