NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A pilot accused of killing his romantic rival on Father’s Day is seeking to challenge a judge’s decision to refuse him bail a second time.

Donald Ferguson, 27, is scheduled to challenge the ruling of Justice Dale Fitzpatrick to order his continued remand.

He’s accused of gunning down his estranged wife’s lover, Geovanni Rolle, on June 16, 2024 at Jet Nassau.

Justice Dale Fitzpatrick ruled there was a risk of Ferguson absconding, committing further offenses, jeopardizing the public’s safety and his own, and interfering with witnesses if freed on bail.

Ferguson intends to represent himself on appeal after dismissing his lawyer Murrio Duciile KC.

The Appeal is set to be heard in January 2026.
