NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A broad daylight double shooting left one man dead and another injured in the hospital. Police were called to Ferguson Street around 4 p.m. on Thursday.

At the scene, a huge crowd of onlookers watched as officers processed the area. Just feet away lay the body of the 22-year-old victim.

Police Press Liaison Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings says the victims were traveling in a car when they were cut off by the gunmen.

We obtained a video that was too graphic to air, which showed a silver vehicle intercepting the victim’s car with three men chasing them as they tried to run away.

The 28-year-old, who was taken to the hospital, is also known to the police.

Skippings says with the shooting happening so close to homes and businesses, it’s concerning.
