GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Sports Minister Mario Bowleg answered my question affirmatively about whether Grand Bahama will now get a pool after the government received over 80 acres of land, worth over $6 million, from the Grand Bahama Port Authority on Thursday.

The land is located at the site of the Grand Bahama Sports Complex.

The sports minister went even further saying he met with the architect already as well.

And GBPA Chairman Sarah st. George couldn’t be happier.

GBPA President Ian Rolle also shared why sports is so crucial to the overall landscape of Grand Bahama and the country at large.
