State Recognized Funeral for Retired Justice Gomez
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Cabinet Office has announced a State Recognized Funeral will be held for Retired Justice Roger Gomez.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Cabinet Office has announced a State Recognized Funeral will be held for Retired Justice Roger Gomez.
The service is scheduled for Friday January 27, 2023, at 11am at St. Agnes Anglican Church on Baillou Hill Road.
The retired Chief Justice’s body will lie-in-state in the Hansard Building, Thursday, beginning at 9am.
He served as a stipendiary and circuit magistrate until he was appointed as Chief Magistrate in 2004.
In 2013 he became a justice of the Supreme Court.
Gomez passed away on January 9, 2023.
