NASSAU, BAHAMAS – What’s next? It’s the question put to students at the University of The Bahamas through several career-focused initiatives this week, including its annual career fair.

UB Career and Job Placement Counselor, Dr. Willissa Mackey says the annual event helps to give students insight on the opportunities available to them locally.

Sophomore Damari Johnson is pursuing a computer information systems degree. He says he’s using the career fair as a networking tool.

Local and international companies including Cemex Bahamas and Royal Caribbean International provided information and internship programs for qualified students.
