NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Hundreds turned out to support First Caribbean CIBC’s Walk for the Cure on the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Today marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this morning, hundreds turned out to support First Caribbean CIBC’s Walk for the Cure. Walk managers, Kizzanae Arthur and Antionette Fox say they are so pleased to see many people support the first post-pandemic walk. 

Several breast cancer support groups and health and wellness organizations turned out to support. President of the GD Caring and Sharing Support Group dquesa dean and President of the Sister-Sister group, Andrea Sweeting, both say the donations will go a long way. 

Participants, Robin Sealy and Cameron Sands share they turned out to support, for fallen and surviving family members of breast cancer. 

Stage 4 cancer Survivor, Tia Ferguson, shares completing this year’s walk is very special to her as she was unable to do so five years ago.
