NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamian Chargé d’Affaires Captain Godfrey Rolle, says he and his colleagues are scheduled to return to Haiti soon.

This coming almost a month after being stopped in Haiti back in January, when some Bahamian diplomats were stopped in a blockade by the Haitian police and relieved of their weapons.

This event resulted in their extraction from the country in crisis.

The removal order was temporary and contingent upon the results of a security assessment, but the diplomats were eager to get back to Haiti.
