GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – President of the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce James Carey shared his views on Grand Bahama’s economy.

The chamber president taking note of all of the projects earmarked for the northern island by government and the Grand Bahama Port Authority but he says residents are eager to see concrete in the ground.

And another bone of contention,  he says is the completion of the Grand Bahama International Airport.

But the  chamber president is confident that Freeport can return to it’s “glory days”

And as for the feeling among business owners on the island’s economic state, he says the views are mixed
