NASSAU, BAHAMAS – “You always wish you have more time.” That was Financial Secretary Simon Wilson’s response when asked whether the budget was ever not ready during his tenure of working at the Ministry of Finance, noting that that hasn’t happened.

We also asked the financial secretary about moving towards a digitized budget. He says The Bahamas is moving toward a new financial management system.
