UNITED STATES – Outfielder Chavez Young has been rewarded for an outstanding season, earning a selection to the 2026 Frontier League All-Star game as a member of the Québec Capitales.

The All-Star game is scheduled for July 15 in Florence, Kentucky, with the league’s top players taking the field during its mid-season showcase.

Young has been one of the Frontier League’s most dynamic players this season, batting .352 with a 1.024 OPS, while ranking second in the Atlantic Conference with 27 stolen bases.

His combination of speed, defense, and offensive production has helped make him one of the league’s premier lead-off hitters.

The All-Star honor marks another milestone in a professional career that began when the Toronto Blue Jays selected Young in the 39th round of the 2016 MLB Draft.

After seven seasons in the Blue Jays organization, he spent time with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers Organization before playing for the Lake Country Dockhounds of the American Association last year.

This season, he has helped power the defending Frontier League champion, Capitales.

Chisholm Shines Despite Yankees’ June Skid

It was a June to forget for the New York Yankees.

The club finished the month with a 10-16 record, falling out of first place in the American League East after losing 15 of its final 21 games.

The skid has continued into July as the Yankees search for consistency.

One of the few bright spots during that stretch was Bahamian Infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr.

Chisholm hit .271 during the month, belting six home runs, driving in 15 runs, stealing nine bases, and continuing to provide the power-speed combination that has made him one of the yankees’ most dynamic players.

His month included a go-ahead home run against Cleveland, a two-run shot against Detroit, and a pair of stolen bases against Toronto.

As the yankees look to rebound in the second half, they’ll need more of the same from their two time All-Star.
