NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Award-winning chef Ian Kittichai who was born in Bangkok, Thailand fell in love with the islands of The Bahamas during his time working as a chef for a hotel chain in Exuma.

In honor of his love for both his home country and The Bahamas he recently opened the doors to Ko Sa-Wan which is a restaurant located in the Cove, Atlantis Paradise Island.

They have exquisite lighting and scenic views, the premiere restaurant offers foodies a menu of modern Thai dishes that are rooted in tradition with a slight Bahamian flare which takes diners on a culinary journey.

“When you’re traveling into different country you actually have to know the culture because you learn from the culture you know actually what the culture like and then you start to creating the menu for the local people because they are your fan they are your support.”

Chef Ian boasts each dish is presented family style, with vibrant starters, from aromatic soups to bold soulful courses and delicate desserts.
