39-Year-Old Charged With Murdering Missing Man

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 39-year-old man is facing a murder charge after a missing man was found dead in bushes off Cowpen Road.

Prosecutors allege that Peter Louis is responsible for the March 19 murder of 23-year-old Camron Munnings, who was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

Louis was not required to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

He was denied bail and the matter is expected to be fast-tracked to the supreme court with the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment on August 27 to fast track the case to the Supreme Court.
