ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA – Antigua and Barbuda’s incumbent prime minister, Gaston Browne led the Antigua and Barbuda labor party to an unprecedented fourth consecutive electoral victory, following a snap election, two years ahead of the constitutional deadline.

Official results released this morning.

The ABLP secured 15 of the twin island nation’s 17 parliamentary seats, while the main opposition, United Progressive Party’s seat count collapsed from five to one. Trevor Walker, of the Barbuda People’s Movement has won his seat in every election, except 2014, since 2004, will also on the opposition bench.
