2026 Paradise Invitational

Southern Methodist got the big upset yesterday at Baha Mar. They took down the number 3-ranked Kentucky Wildcats in 4 sets to take game 2 of the invitational.

They had to dig deep to come out ahead. They won the first set 27-25. But UK put up a stand in the 2nd set, taking that 25-21. SMU then did the same to Kentucky, beating them 25-21 in the third set before emerging in a dogfight of a 4th set, winning that one 29-27.
