Flag Football

The Bahamas Youth Flag Football League sent a 10u team to compete in the battle Orlando tournament in Orlando, Florida, last week.

Coached by Akeem Boyd, the squad fell to the Phinz 22-12 in their first matchup before grabbing a 12-6 win over the Brevad Elite.

They blew out the south Tampa Mafia 26-7, but the Phinz got them again in the second round, 27-12, to send them home.

The BYFFL has been sending teams to tournaments in Florida for the past few years, and they’ve turned in some strong performances.

Last week was no exception.

The league plays every Saturday at the fields in front of the Old Thomas A. Robinson stadium.
