NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Anticipation is mounting for the return the major Junkanoo parades, with the Valley Boys hoping to bring home a win this parade season.

Chairman of the Valley Boys Frontline Dance Association John Williams, speaks with Our News about plans for the upcoming parade. The veteran Junkanooer says spectators can expect a unique experience.

While he could not reveal the theme for the much anticipated parade, Williams says preparations are going well for both the Boxing Day and New Years Day parades. Last week, Junkanoo groups received much needed funding ahead of the upcoming 2022-2023 Junkanoo parades.

Williams says the group has high hopes about walking away with the win.
